After numerous changes Daskino has finally risen from the ashes of he formerly dire Eschuda. After looking around the bar and seeing nothing but continental lagers and ciders i had very little hope for a decent drink.
To my astonishment there were two real ale pumps set back at the side of the bar (a very strange place very much out of sight as if they were ashamed of them). serving Purity Mad Goose and UBU bitter (£3.80) I opted for the UBU bitter and to my surprise it was kept in really great condition.
This is really not my sort of place, too noisy and modern but if I do ever get dragged around these type of establishments again I would not be too disappointed to return here if for no other reason that they have drinkable ale unlike 90% of most other similar outlets if at a very pricey £3.80.
** update, now no longer selling real ale!! God knows why but this ha stripped it of literally any reason to visit, now only rated a 5

This pub was originally called the Old Vic Tavern and had Home Ales beers on the bar,in more recent years the pub has been called Escucha.
On my latest visit to this large pub it had changed name again and in now called Daskino.
Once inside there is one really large room, there is a raised area to the front which is ideal for watching the world go by,the seating in this area is normal tables and chairs, the bar is on the left side and runs halfway down the room, the seating in the main area is a mix of seating types and the room extends quite a way to the rear.
There are no real ales on the bar, there are some T bars with a couple of Polish lagers on and some main stream lagers,i had a half of Kozel which was cold.
This place is smart enough and you should always get a seat here due to its size.
Ive done the new incarnation once and that is enough.
