Bucking Fastard left this review about The Falcon Inn
A proper old school boozer ,it's on the busy street corner at Canning Circus .The interior is traditional with the bar in the left room, the snug to the right with a distressed Falcon pub sign above an unlit real fireplace which if operational would have taken the chill off on a cold evening outside.Regulars were friendly enough as our large group took over the snug, with a large fitted bench around the periphery.
It's rightly listed in the 2025 GBG and the ale choice on my visit was Oakham Citra,Welbeck Abbey Red Feather,Ossett White Rat (NBSS 4) and Titanic Plum Porter (NBSS 4.5).We settled in for quite a long time, impressed by the quality of the ale.I would most certainly return,it's a natural double header with the nearby ,and excellent,Organ Grinder.

Moby Duck left this review about The Falcon Inn
A rather basically attired traditional pub which is smaller inside than it appears from the outside it has a main room and as mentioned before, a small snug of to one side, the snug being full up at the time of my visit with people eating Sunday dinner, the only time in the week food is available. Back in the main room there are six hand pumps, beers on were Oakham Citra, Ossett White Rat , Titanic Plum Porter and Wellbeck Abbey Red Feather.
A nice no frills pub well worthy of a Canning Circus crawl.

Old Boots left this review about The Falcon Inn
A small very nice pub with six pumps serving a range of local and national casks and national kegs. There is one larger room with the counter and a smaller snug to the right. The snug is delightful with bench seating wood and cast iron tables, decorated with old photos adverts and prints, the old Shipstones pub sign is also hung in here.
