This was my home pub from 23 years ago in 1989 when we lived at Forge Cottage just 2 doors away - and were great friends with Donny and Hazel Hughes the owners - we looked after the pub on occasions loving the locals - would love to see updates of the inside and outside.It was a great community way back then and i wish i had never left - so many awesome characters and friends - if anyone sees this from claypole you may need to know that andrew n carol divorced 1992, and andy now has multiple sclerosis and in a wheelchair but still has that great sense of humour
