Strongers . left this review about The Wheatsheaf
There was only one other person in the Wheatsheaf during a recent Thursday evening visit, although to be honest the whole town was pretty quiet. There is seating in the widows either side of the entrance and the bar counter runs up the right. Standard keg and Birra Moretti were the draught options. There is a dartboard and a pool table. Out the back is a large beer garden with a concreted seating area that leads onto some fake grass. I didn’t see anything in here that would have me rushing back.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf
Back to its original name, but this attractive-looking pub has had one or more interior makeovers that have stripped out any character it might once have had. A basic beer garden can also be found out back. However, the (already limited) real ale offering has gone too, and with little else to choose from, the John Smith's (just £2.10) was the least-worst option. Minor plus point: the landlady was friendly enough.

Decent enough pub but only weak real ale. I had a cider @ 4.9% which was nice enough.
