Strongers . left this review about The Hind Hotel
The Hind Hotel is a large operating hotel with a bar on the right-hand side that is open to non-residents, and has its own entrance. The interior is L-shaped and very thin with high tables along the wall opposite the bar and seating at the front and rear. On the wall next to the bar is a jukebox that nobody was putting money in so some very slow folk music was playing. The bar supports standard keg and Birra Moretti alongside three hand pumps, but only one was in operation drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar. The other four customers during a recent Tuesday evening visit were a group of three who were on a work trip, I know this because they spent the whole of my stay slagging off their absent boss. And the other customer was a very farty man who was dressed in tweed. The barman was very polite and took the time to show me to the toilet as it was quicker than trying to explain the route through the hotel. I’d have a nightcap in here if I was staying in the hotel.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hind Hotel
Bar to one side of the historic hotel, also called Cromwell's or Oliver's (depending on which signage and printed material you look at). Refurbished in a light modern style, which works quite well despite being at variance with the dark brick façade. No 1 from the local Hart brewery (£3.00) from one of the pair of handpumps.

The Hind Hotel is a large hotel with a public bar,the bar can be accessed by the front door or a seperate entrance on the right side of the hotel.
The bar is situated on the right side of the hotel, once inside there was a smallish oblong shaped room, the bar was facing, the room was bare boarded.
The seating was normal tables and chairs to the right plus two settees, the left side was down a few steps, there were normal tables and chairs here set up for diners.
A TV to the right was showing music videos which were quite loud.
No real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which it was.
I thought this place was a bit poor in my opinion.
