Alan Winfield left this review about The Chequered Flag
This pub is now called the Hare.
The Hare is situated on Loddingtons very quite main street, the pub is set above the road and there is no front door, the entrance is to the rear left.
Once inside there was an oblong shaped room with the bar facing, there were a couple of tables and chairs in the bar area, there was a seating area down one step to the right, there were different sized tables and chairs and a nice warm real fire on the go,the letf side was set aside for diners.
There were three real ales on the bar and one cider,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent drink, the other beers were Bombardier and Patriot Ameican Pale Ale.
The pub was very busy with both drinkers and diners.
We thought this was a decent pub to have drink in.
