An old multi-roomed inn rather concentrating on food. The front bar is pleasant enough although most of the woodwork has been painted over. The former public bar behind still has a pool table but it was covered and pushed into the corner and the room was fully laid up for dining. Another room at the front appears to be the actual dining room, while a large hall at the back is the restaurant. The car park is across the road and there is a garden round the back somewhere. Ales on were TT Landlord and Boltmaker, plus Tetley's Cask acting as a house beer. The Boltmaker at least was in very good condition.
