After a bit of a makeover in the modern old style there are lots of brown wooden fittings and furniture, brass, and old style light fittings. There is also a pool table, machines, musak and the obligatory old photos of the locality. It still does value for money meals. Altogether looking more pub like than before and the counter now sports two pulls with Theakstons Best on one and Golden Pippin on the other, in acceptable condition. It's very handy for a bus stop if you are doing a number 36 based crawl.

A big 19th century house converted to a pub at some stage, looks and feels a bit like a slightly upmarket Harvester, but with less depressing decor. Cask ale free area.
