The Norfolk Terrier is a dry led pub a short walk from Thetford Town Centre. A sign in the door apologised for the kitchen being closed, this may have been why there was only one other customer during a recent early midweek evening visit. The interior consists of an L-shaped bar counter that faces a front seating area made up of banquettes, high tables, normal tables and a few partitions thrown in to break up the space. At the rear is another bar with more seating and a pool table. The bar counter supports standard and premium keg and the two of the three hand pumps were in operation drawing Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale. The barmaid was very friendly, but there was no atmosphere. The other customer got so bored that he decided to help wrap the cutlery in paper napkins. Feeling the life draining from my body I decided to slosh back my half before making my escape.
