A very pleasant riverside pub which provides an excellent last stop before cruising down river to Yarmouth. There was a comfortable, tidy garden by the river, while inside was comfortable and welcoming and surprisingly devoid of grockles who stayed outside. The décor is basic and light, the staff were very welcoming and the food was good value – basic pub grub in good sized portions at a reasonable price. Ales on were Southwold, Ghost Ship and Freewheeler, not in the best condition but still drinkable. I’d be very happy to come back here either at lunchtime or for an evening’s libation.
