A bizarre place, an ancient-looking building covered in creepers with a spooky sort of sign so difficult to recognise as a pub. Inside is a sort of Tudor sports bar, with beams, panelling, aged woodwork and big screens arranged variously. The outdoors are a bit unkempt and the first bar entered was devoid of life apart from the obligatory sports screen and two motorcycles. A sign on an old door at the back saying 'bar' proved to be so, leading to a livelier area. There are no cask ales, but some Adnams craft on tap.
