Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The George & Dragon
Unless I caught it on a bad day, this once good pub / restaurant / hotel seems to have gone to the dogs since I last visited some 11 years ago. All the quirky character has been lost inside (despite the still attractive external appearance), leaving a functional boozer still offering some food and accommodation. I suppose it could be rescued, but a lot of work will be required. Just Harvey's (£2.20 for an indifferent half, once I secured the correct change).
