Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Drum Inn
Welcoming 17th century pub on Stone Street, unusually set at 90° to the former Roman road. Didn't get the chance to look at the no-doubt traditional interior due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions, but the weather was dry so the wooden benches in the beer garden were an acceptable alternative. Although a Greene King house, I thankfully found Über Brew from Old Dairy Brewery (£4.50) on offer as well as the inevitable IPA. Offers bike and folk nights in normal circumstances.
