The Rose and Crown has banquette seating across the front and up the right-hand wall which is covered with wallpaper patterned with a map of Liverpool. The serving counter is found midway up the left-hand wall and at the end of the counter is a dartboard with an oche across the rear wall. There’s lots of televisions that were airing Monday Night Football via Sky Sports to the handful of punters present. This is a bog standard pub with only standard and premium keg so I don’t think I’ll be revisiting any time soon.

a standard boozer with no real ale. there are enough great pubs in this area to not need to waste a single second in here

Not the best pub in the area but not too bad. A single room with the main seating area on a raised level opposite the bar. Nearly all the seating consists of banquette seating along the walls with small stools to accompany the tables. No real ale. Usual awful karaoke-by-numbers on a few times.
