The Red Lion Hotel has a DJ booth in the left front and a bar counter on the left wall that supports standard keg. There’s a room behind the bar and three seating areas up the right hand side, a couple of young ladies were setting up a Christmas tree in the area opposite the bar. Televisions found throughout were showing muted darts on Sky Sports and Racing TV and the jukebox seemed to be playing a full Blur album. I think a few in here fancy themselves a bit and I wondered why people were pandering to the drunk at the bar. Couldn’t get comfortable and was glad to leave.

A large multi-roomed pub. Traditional in style with rooms offset from the main area. No real ale.

Bit run down should do ok but the larger had the taste of a dirty line barmaid chatty a few regulars round the bar what looked rough and ready will call back when in the area
