Strongers . left this review about Old Cock Inn
The Old Cock Inn is a JW Lees pub with different seating areas for drinking and dining that are found under a wooden beamed ceiling that in parts is covered in fairy lights. There’s lots of banquette seating and also a pool table that stood unused during a quiet Tuesday evening visit. Premium keg was available alongside Lees own keg, Carlsberg and a cocktail menu. One of the two hand pumps was in use drawing Lees Bitter, but I went for a £2.70 half a Carlsberg, which is expensive for the area, while I sat and watched Casualty on the television. The young governor was polite, but I was glad to leave.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old Cock Inn
JW Lees pub, set back from the road between Mills Hill station and the town centre by a basic front patio garden. The multi-room interior has been given a basic refurbishment at some stage and is characterised by generally sparse furniture. Only one of the two bars (the one with the side pool room) was in use when I visited, with the lounge / dining room in darkness There were only a few people in on a Monday evening, and just the cask Bitter (£3.80) was available from the pair of handpumps on the active counter.

A good sized roadhouse owned by Lees Brewery. Two rooms with a large taproom to the left with a pool table, dartboard and jukebox. The even larger lounge to the right was being used for a private function, so I only had a quick look. Only one handpump serving Lees Bitter which was in decent nick and cost £3. It's a pleasant enough pub, but doesn't really tick most boxes for me.
