The Dog and Partridge is an L-shaped pub with seating across the front and up the right hand side faced by the bar. I counted four handpumps, two of which were unused leaving TT Landlord and Brightside Maverick as the cask options Premium keg is also available alongside Carlsberg. A Pieminister menu is available for food, a pie and two sides is under £10. There’s at least one television for showing Sky Sports, which was muted and some background music was playing. I found the service to be polite and thought the surroundings were very comfortable. I’d pop back in if passing.

Handsome traditional pub, with TT Landlord in good condition. I didnt even notice it was GK. Which is unusual.

A fine, brick built, traditional pub, right in the centre of Didsbury. It's owned by Greene King, but there was only 1 of their beers on the bar. It's an L shaped pub with plenty of bric-a-brac along with 2 small TVs and a quiz machine. I used to visit here years ago when a mate of mine lived on Barlow Moor Road. I'm pleased to report that it's hardly changed since then. I had a pint of Shefford Plum Mild which was in good nick and promptly lost a couple of quid on the quiz machine. It's still a very good pub.
