The Dog and Partridge is a small pub that had a couple of locals in watching the football when I visited on Wednesday evening. There are two small seating areas in the front of the pub, both with televisions and the left side has a dartboard. At the rear is a pool table. Lots of rugby memorabilia can be found dotted around the pub and there is a model of Salford RLFC’s ground. Annoyingly the jukebox would play a song randomly, even though people were watching the match. The bar is stocked with standard and premium keg and the service was friendly.

A small single roomed pub with a fair bit of Man Utd memorabilia dotted around. No real ale though there are 4 unused handpumps. Its basically a L-shaped room with a pool table to one side and a small outside beer terrace thingy to the right of the bar. Its a fairly bland place but was ok.

I walked into this pub expecting to find some real ale as they claimed to have a Phoenix beer plus others on tap. All 4 handpumps were turned round on my Friday early evening visit. If they don't have beer on a Friday, when will they have? It had been a long day out and I just couldn't face another half of fizz, so I left.
