Strongers . left this review about Earl of Beaconsfield

The L-shaped Earl of Beaconsfield has banquettes across the front window and seating up the right opposite the bar counter that supports four hand pumps. Only two were in operation drawing Moonshine’s Heavenly Matters and Vocation’s Balmy Days. Premium keg was also available alongside Brixton Lager and Beavertown’s Neck Oil. Some background music was playing, and live music was advertised. TNT Sport was also advertised and a dartboard sits on the rear wall, although there was seating on the oche. There was also a sign for a billiard room, although I didn’t investigate. This wasn’t the best pub of the day, but the ale was decent, as was the company so I enjoyed my stay.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Earl of Beaconsfield

Traditional town pub located just over the railway from the city-centre side. Partly opened out to leave three slightly separated seating areas (with the rear one down a single step). Anyway, just the sort of boozer where you would expect to find live music of an evening, and I wasn't disappointed. Adnams × Vocation Balmy Days (£4.70), Yorkshire Blonde from Ossett and Moonshine's Heavenly Matters being poured from three of the four handpumps.

Bucking Fastard left this review about Earl of Beaconsfield

A music orientated local just over the railway line along Mill Road ,it's a more substantial building than the terrace houses next door. The interior is L shaped with a skylight above a side seating area,a darts board and space for musicians ,who were absent on my Friday evening crawl visit.Four handpumps but only two working offering Moonshine Heavenly Matters and Vocation Balmy Days (NBSS 3).The pub was quiet and had a downbeat atmosphere ,so this doesn't seem a must visit if crawling the area,it needs to up it's game.
