No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Fosters, Aspall, Madri, Moretti, Carlsberg, John Smiths, dark fruits SB, Neck Oil with a covered tap for Carling.
High street venue with attractive green tiled frontage. Bar counter down the left-hand wall and is very traditional and attractive with its illuminated mirrored backing on the wall behind. Stool seating at the bar counter and the level inside the entrance is bare boarded with a few regular tables and chairs and a bench just to the right of the entrance. There is a pool table at the back of this area and strings of warm white fairy lights traversing the ceiling. Several fruit machines and TVs tuned into the afternoon racing and tennis without commentary, sound provided by a low volume pop soundtrack. Up a couple of steps to the right of the entrance is another bare boarded area with regular tables, chairs and small benches. Another large TV on one wall and a dartboard on the wall facing the glass frontage onto the street. Obviously given location there is a shed load of Spurs memorabilia on the walls. There is a covered beer garden out the back with plenty of picnic bench style seating and another bar at the rear, closed on my visit.

First time back in post pandemic and also not on a match day, to find that the Bricklayers has been spruced up in the last year or so. The plethora of scarves and flags have been removed and put in the outside courtyard section, and the décor has been given a makeover with light battleship grey being extensively used on the walls.
There is still plenty of footballing memorabilia on the walls and especially the elevated section opposite the bar, in the form of framed historic photos throughout the years, and the net result is a much smarter pub, especially on non-match days, when the clientele couldn’t give a monkeys about football.
Sadly the drinks offerings have not been improved in the meantime and its still fizz only with Beavertown Neck Oil being the most exciting thing available.
