A post Covid visit found this one largely unchanged from the reviews below, although think it might have been spruced up a bit since Moby’s review as there are a few TV screens and a separate area with a pool table.
Yes, will agree there’s not much here to attract the real ale drinker or the young upwardly mobile that are now finding themselves in Bethnal green. But on the other hand, there’s nothing really offensive about the place, it seemed a fairly friendly, if not basic local boozer that appeals, and I guess will continue to appeal, to the more mature local generation.
Only standard keg options and I will concur with others that the lighting is a bit bright of an evening, giving the drinking in a goldfish bowl effect, so I didn’t linger long in this one.

This is part of the Craft Union chain, which seems to provide life support for moribund pubs. A very basic outfit this, with a carpeted floor, very bright lighting, flashing games machines and TVs showing sport to very few older more local veterans.

Another tired pub. One room with bar to the rear. No real ales - just keg rubbish.
