Will Larter left this review about The Shipwrights Arms
It didn't feel too cramped to me, but maybe that's because so many were drinking outside, and I was proposed a choice of a plastic drinking object, which I declined in favour of a half pint glass for my Southwark LPA 4%. It was ok but not as good as I'm sure I can remember it (£5.20/pint). Luckily I read the previous review so remembered to seek out the tiled picture mentioned. I have admired this pub's exterior from the 381 bus, and I'm quite pleased to have ventured inside, but it's not really a destination pub for beer drinkers.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Shipwrights Arms
Somewhat cramped pub, with a substantial square island bar in the centre but limited room on each of the four sides. As you would expect, the decor has a nautical theme but the stand-out feature is an impressive tiled picture of a old shipyard scene just inside the side door. Can get very busy after work or when there is a big football match on the large screens, but the service is usually fairly efficient. Duplicated selection of Doom Bar, Solar Wave and Southwark's LPA (£5.20) from the banks of three handpumps on opposite corners of the island bar on this latest visit.

Close to the station entrance, circular room, bit scruffy and very busy due to the location
