I am also a descendent of William Valentine and know about this pub. I think it has now been demolished? I would love to hear from Gavin Shaw.

My gr-gr-Grandfather, William Valentine, took ownership of the Orange Tree in 1880. In 1903, his eldest son, also William, inherited the pub. It remained in the family until circa 1933, when it was lost through gambling.
