No cask. Keg offering of Fosters, Coors, Carlsberg, John Smiths, Stella, Moretti, Guinness, San Miguel and SB original.
Another rectangular bar off the busy main road out the front. This one is a bit plusher than previous venues on this initial crawl of NW venues. It is bare boarded throughout with the bar counter a sumptuous affair mid venue on the left-hand wall. Again quite a few punters here were sitting on tall, backed stools at the bar counter. A couple of red brick pillars floor to ceiling (as most pillars are) in the middle of the floor space divide up the space somewhat. There are ledges around the pillars with stools to sit on or stand at as suits your mood. There are some red fabric studded banquettes in the front left and along the full right-hand wall, in some parts set up to create booths. Some recesses in the wall opposite the bar counter hint at expensive whiskeys available here. The lighting is nice and TV’s were showing evening sports news absent sound that provided by a very discrete music soundtrack. Can imagine this place will attract a younger crowd than some other of the Irish bars visited in this part of NW London as it is pretty classy. Happy to say it was very enjoyable for a pint of Guinness mid Monday evening.
