Right next door to the new 'spoons and probably suffering as a result, the three Chelsea flags hanging outside set the tone. It's a large, opened out L shaped interior with lots of room for vertical drinking,a pool table and gaming machines to the front, large banquettes in green to the side, and two large flatscreens for Sky sports.Everything looked worn and a bit grubby, the small enclosed beer garden uninviting ,at least the muzak was gentle. The heating was off, there was no atmosphere,it just looked like a functional pre match boozer.
Naturally no cask ale,the kegs taps were multinational brands crap with the best option seemingly BrewDog Punk IPA helped by it's 5% and £3 the half, which is reasonable for the area but very expensive versus 'spoons.
Nothing to see here, keep on walking.

Dating from at least 1861, this was the King’s Head, as evinced by the original name still visible in stucco to the façade.
I had thought that this was going to be some sort of trendy venue, but it isn’t. It’s a large, stripped out place, with the main front largely geared towards vertical drinking. Customers’ and the barman’s appearance gave the impression that I’d entered a drop-in centre, the latter telling me that the venue was closed. At just after 9.00.
This place really isn’t worth the bother, but then nothing is along Fulham Broadway. Avoid.

Weak real ales and usual keg offerings. Nothing special at all. TV showing football.
