Visited 03/08/26. Visited previously 31/07/23.
No draught beer. Range of beers by the bottle.
Very gothic styled interior with a black and red swirled pattern Lino flooring with the bar counter a faux rock construction against the rear wall with tall stool seating at the bar counter. Red leather banquettes around the left-hand side of the venue serving regular tables and there are some tall tables to the right of the entrance served by tall, backed stools. No screens and a pop soundtrack on my visit. There is some seating outside the venue either side of the entrance with some awning protection on a rather hot early evening. There is escape room activity at the venue and as a corporate event venue I can see that the combo would really work. Ticked previously, returned to review and photo, I can't see a third visit on a solo basis.

A proper pub just behind Victoria Station, one which has managed to avoid being ruined by commuters and tourists and serves its local population well. The locals are decent people, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is convivial despite the somewhat Spartan décor and furnishing. It has sports on TV, various bon mots painted on the walls, a jukebox for the drunks to abuse and etched windows. Three ales on: I had Sharps Rising Tide, a decent ale in first class condition. Well worth including in a crawl, but might be a bit uncomfortable for a whole evening.
