Peter Forster left this review about The Norfolk Arms
I first came here in 1982 when Commonwealth Hall, a University of London student residence, was around the corner. Then it was very much a traditional London pub that food wise, stretched to a cheese and apple toasty at lunchtime. Since then it has been gutted and converted to a continental style food led bar with marble topped tables and exposed floor boards. The barman was pretty unresponsive but managed to serve a couple of halves of Eurofizz. I imagine it is an okay place to eat but I only came in for nostalgic reasons. It’s not really a prober pub any more. Commonwealth Hall has gone and I doubt I will return.

Basically identical review to below. As far as i felt, this is now more of a Spanish restaurant than a pub. On a lunchtime visit just for a beer I also got the impression that if I didn't have a dining reservation for a table I wasn't really wanted. Had to stand at the bar and wait for the guy behind the bar to clear a load of delivered wine bottles off the top before he would entertain asking me what I wanted. Yes there is a solitary passable St Austell tribute and yes there are some nice external benches to catch the afternoon sun, but frankly I wont be bothering this one again.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Norfolk Arms
With all tables seemingly set aside for dining, those stopping by for a quick pint are not exactly welcomed inside but but there are also some wooden benches along front and side facades. 'L'-shaped bar, with some some interesting heritage features both inside and out. Some picturesque hanging groceries by the windows, but otherwise limited décor. Rusticated furniture. Tribute (£6.40) available from one of the pair of handpumps to the side of the bar, with a reversed Landlord clip on the other.
