Across the road from the town gaol is the Kings Head. A really great pub 3 real ales and a landlord who is really passionate about the pub and his beers. we were made to feel really welcome, this would be our local if we lived in the area. We had a fantastic pint of Hooky Gold 4.1% ABV, which was in perfect condition A very pale, crisp beer, confidently displaying it’s hop character. The first Hook Norton beer to feature American hops. A fruity aroma and a pleasant, light taste.
