I was in Market Rasen on a quiet Tuesday as part of a short cycling trip, with an overnight stop at a campsite just outside town. The town was quite frankly dead, with many pubs closed either permanently or just for the evening. This was one of the very few open. There are three real ales on the bar, but I think I was the only customer who bought one during the time I was there. Doom Bar, plus two from Milestone, Hoptimism and Loxley. I went for the latter, but was not sufficiently impressed to change my plan of buying a couple of cans from the Co-op to see out the remainder of the evening. My notes made at the time describe this as a "modern version of a traditional pub", by which I think I meant that it's wet-led but more like a sports bar than a back street local.

We spent a fab weekend here! We used the B&B the rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, a great place to spend time relaxing, having some fun and a few drinks :) and all reasonably priced as well, would happily recommend The White Swan to anyone!! Thanks White Swan for helping to make it a fab weekend away for us!

My husband I recently spent a weekend in Market rasen visiting relatives. We spent two nights bed & breakfast in The White Swan. The rooms were clean & tidy and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. We received a really warm welcome from the landlord and his wife and because of this we felt happy to sit in the pub and spent two most enjoyable nihts. I would recommend this pub for either bed & breakfast or a great night out. Loved it
