An hotel bar and bistro in a pleasant Georgian building. The bar is to the right when you enter with a wait to be seated sign, no one about mid afternoon but the receptionist was on double duty. The counter has three keg taps with Doombar, Madri and Aspall cider to delight you. Mostly laid out with chairs and tables with condiments, the front windows have banquettes beneath but still with dining tables. A bit modern and slightly cafe style, tiles round the counter parquet floor elsewhere, decor is floral prints and random old books. Probably only worth using if you are a guest.

The Masons Arms is in the middle of Louth with market stalls outside the pub.
This is a largish looking pub and i went in a fairly large and comfortable room,there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Coach House Gunpowder Mild which was a really nice drink the other beers were Batemans XB and Slaters Premium.
It was quite busy in here and i was happy having a drink in here.

Nice hotel situated just off the market square.
One large well decorated bar,with lots of comfortable padded seats.
Handy place to stay when going motor cycle racing at nearby Cadwell Park.
Serves at least 3 real ales,changing weekly.
Good atmosphere,especially on Market days,Wednesdays and Fridays,and Saturdays.
