Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn

Attractive village pub, although the two-part interior is rather more basic than one might expect. The L-shaped bar is accessed via a small patio garden, and a side lounge can be found down a couple of steps. Doom Bar (£3.30) and Black Sheep available from two of the three handpumps.

Will Larter left this review about The Plough Inn

A village local that seems to get a new coat of paint every so often, to judge by photos on Streetview (aubergine/mauve), WhatPub (faun/mushroom) and my recent photo (blue-grey-green?). The recent redecoration included a rather nice technical depiction of a plough on the inn sign and on the wall of the pub. There's a side door and a small beer garden at the front with another entrance somewhat obscured by a large car at the time of my visit, though it's not actually a car park - try the Co-op along the street. Once inside it's a fairly ordinary if not somewhat downtrodden pub, with three hand pumps on the bar immediately upon entering. There's another room to the right, and an extension to the rear houses a pool table. Beers were Timothy Taylor Landlord, Sharps Doom Bar and Wadworth 6X, not exactly what would normally set the pulses racing, but the 6X was in reasonable nick (NBSS 3). Of the half dozen or so late afternoon regulars present, only one was drinking real ale.
