Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Peacock Inn
Greene King corner pub, still arranged in an overall L shape with the dining room extending back into what looks like a different building. Refurbished; pleasant enough, but of no real interest (although I got a friendly welcome). More noteworthy though, is the traditional Toad in the Hole pub game (a long way from its home in Sussex) in the main bar area. Decking beer garden at the back. Three cask ales on handpump: Hardys & Hansons Bitter, Old Golden Hen and a 'house' CathedrAle Best Bitter (£2.20, half) also from Bury St Edmunds.

Graham Coombs left this review about Peacock Inn
A Greene King pub which has been rather facelifted at the cost of any character but seems friendly enough. The most notable feature is a prominent Toad in the Hole game, apparently imported by a group of drinkers from Sussex in 2012 and now played in four Lincoln pubs. Cask beers on were Golden Hen, Kimberley Ale and the GK house beer badged as CathedrAle.

ROB Camra left this review about The Peacock Inn
A very large pub with a small bar area, but a big dining area behind the bar. Claims to open at 11:30 on Mondays, but it wasn't open at 12, although it was open when we called back after going to the Morning Star. Full description by Soupy below. The beer range was somewhat pedestrian given that it's owned by Greene King, but my pint was in good nick.
