This pub on the road into Bourne End was heaving on our Thursday night visit for a Quiz Night. It's a cosy two-roomed boozer with the bar located in the public bar (to the left on entry) with a large fireplace being used to full effect. There's further seating up a couple of steps to the left of the bar, with a second room being accessible via a corridor behind the bar which houses further seating at the front of the building and a pool table at the rear. A decent ale range saw Sharp's Doom Bar, Vale Wychert, Harvey's Sussex Best and Brickworks from brewery du jour Bingham's, which came in at £3.70 for a pint.
