The Burghley Arms is a largish pub that is next to the busy crossroads in the centre of town.
Once inside there was a largish room at the front which was the lounge,the bar was facing and there were two unused handpumps on it,most of the seating was small settees which wer'nt that comfortable,there was also a bar at the back of the pub which we did'nt go in but we could hear very loud music coming from this room.
The only bitter available was John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness,this pub is probably popular with younger drinkers in the evening,on our early afternoon visit the pub was almost empty, i did'nt like this pub at all.
