Strongers . left this review about Magnet Tavern
The Magnet was closed when I ventured its way on a recent Wednesday afternoon, but the sign in the door informed me that it opened at 19:00 so I wandered back not long after to find it indeed open with ten or so locals in attendance. There’s a central serving counter which supports standard keg and the lone hand pump was drawing Doom Bar, I opted for a generic lager. There’s a pool table at the rear on the right and a dartboard in the rear left. Darts was muted on the televisions while some background music played. The governor seemed friendly enough, even though he was sporting a Leeds United top. This is probably a decent place to watch the football, but not sure I’d go any other time.

Central door leading into two rooms. I went in the left hand side room which had a TV and a dartboard. Doombore only, the rest keg.
