Shannon & Chesapeake is stone built pub that is a good walk up the Halifax Road from the middle of Tomorden.
Once inside there is an irregular shaped room with the bar facing,the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and chairs and normal tables and chairs for seating,there is a pool table and darts board to the front left.
There was one real ale on which was Caledonian Golden XP,this was a decent drink.
There was decent background music playing.
I thought this was a very comfortable pub to have a drink in,just a shame it was empty on my Saturday afternoon visit.
