Recently had a bit of a makeover and has gone very foody. It's one room with mainly seating set up for dining with a few stools around the bar. One postive is that there are now 4 handpumps on the bar and on my visit were selling TT Best, Black Sheep Bitter, Hawkshead Bitter & Bowland Hen Harrier. Sadly the Hen Harrier wasn't a particularly well kept pint so I didn't try any of the others. The food is very expensive compared to the Hare & Hounds which is not too far away with rag pudding, chips & peas costing £5 more here. It's not going to become one of my regular haunts on this showing.
