I found this place to be more of a restaurant than a pub to be honest, with a very modern wine bar style interior. it was serving 3 real ales which were local but not the most inspiring choice. Lots of business people and pensioners out to lunch. Maybe it's more fun later on.

It is quite remarkable that only a year ago this splendid freehouse pub was an Indian restaurant. The new owner has spent a lot of time and money to bring this pub back to the Longridge community, and it attracts a large amount of visitors. This historic pub is now decorated in a rustic style with a quirky fusion. The rear sun terrace has also been lavishly refurbished. Five handpumps with five ales on our visit, two from Bowland Deckerdance and Bowland Gold. Their other ales were Black Sheep, Lancaster Blonde and their house beer Dog Inn Blonde brewed by Westgate Brewery. The staff were friendly and chatty. This was a difficult pub to leave, so allow some time here.

A lovely pub that looks like its recently been refurbished. It has two rooms with the larger room to the left. The small room to the right is called "The Dog House" and there are 2 handpumps found here. The larger room is basically in 3 areas, the bar area and two areas to the right. The bar has 5 handpumps on dispensing Bowl and Hen Harrier, Black Heep Bitter, Great Corby APA, Moorhouse Pride Of Pendle and their own Dog Inn Blonde brewed by whoever. To the rear is a beer garden with a lovely view over the Ribble valley. Food is popular here too.
