an indifferent town centre pub. it’s not bad as such but not the most interesting place you’ll ever have a drink in. The decor is bland and generic but there are still a couple of drinking areas as well as a raised area which the owners seem to have tried and failed to devote to dining - table numbers but no menus anywhere. Three real ales which were Black Sheep, Tetleys Cask and some posh rugby nonsense themed beer from Greene King.

Much improved since the refurb. Brighter inside and much better selection of drinks. Multi areas to sit in with a raised level to the rear. 3 handpumps dispense national brands.
