Might have been some management changes since the reviews below. It looks like it may have had an unsympathetic refurb. On my visit no cask was available and there was crap all over the tables. Maybe they were just having an off day, but I had a quick half of something fizzy and got out. Not good.

First visit here for a few years and nothing has changed. Still an unpretentious and very traditional seafront bar, very Morecambe. two ales on the bar from the local Q Brewery, at a very reasonable £2.50 a pint. Friendly, top class service and a solid group of local drinkers in on a Thursday afternoon. Remains my favourite port of call in town.

OSB Headmaster is my tip for the next big thing beer wise, and it's a permanent fixture on the bar here at £2.45 a pint. nice place which has modernised and opened up inside whilst remaining a really traditional pub. I took advantage of the sun though and sat outside with the view of the bay.
