Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Commercial Hotel
Faded signage on the traditional façade, but this pub has had a light modern refurbishment inside which comes as something of a surprise. Partly opened out to leave a large bar with a side lounge and a pool room to the rear with a couple of extra tables. Four handpumps on the bar counter, with two from Thwaites - Original and Nutty Black - plus Jennings Cumberland and Prospect Golden Prospect (£2.20) on when I visited. Noisy but good-natured locals pub.
