Fairly decent town centre watering hole just far enough away from the shopping area to keep it from being too busy.
We arrived to find a fairly good ale selection. Moorhouse's White Witch is a regular beer here. Guests were Thwaite's Wainwright, Withnell's Hoppy Fettler & Escape Breakout Session. CAMRA members can get a 10% discount off ales (halves and pints).
The interior is L-shaped, but a bit plain and dark inside. There is an outdoor suntrap area at the rear.
Friendly staff and customers. They're happy to accommodate kids and also serve meals.

A really nice pub. A single room with an L-shaped bar serving 4 real ales. Small beer garden at the rear. Pictures of old Chorley adorn the walls as well as brass plates. Pleasant for an afternoon drink.
