Antique village pub just outside Chorley. Olde worlde interior but all smashed through into one partitioned space, it must have been very quaint once. Tim Taylors monopoly on the bar with Landlord and Boltmaker, plus Golden Best sometimes available too. Unusual tapas menu along with pub classics. A bit quiet and its location probably works against it - too quiet to get a huge amount of passing trade, too far from Rivington to be a hikers destination. It’s quite picturesque though with a lovely garden at the back by the river.
