This is a pleasant canal-side Thwaites pub, but very much a local serving its community. I was with my football mates before Luton Town's appearance at Ewood Park, which is within a reasonable walk from this pub, so I wasn't taking notes for a review. My photos tell me that there were four beers on the bar (and there's a second room with its own bar), two from Thwaites as expected but also two from Jennings, though one of these must have been slow to sell as it was being advertised at just £2 a pint. (A round of two pints and a half of Thwaites beers cost £8, so £3.20 a pint and quite a bit dearer than in the town centre.) The mild was in very good condition and went down a treat.
