The Frienship was a large three storey pub that was situated on old street at the end of a row of shops, this whole area has altered since my visit, with old street being almost lost under ugly modern buildings.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms,i had a drink in the bar, this was a decent sized room that was quite basic, with bench seating and small stools.
The pub was a Robinsons tied house, there was one real ale on the bar, which was Robinsons Stockport bitter, this was a very nice drink.
The pub now looks in a very sorry state,no doubt more modern ugly building will be built on its site when they finally pull it down.
