Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Horse
Otham is a rather dispersed sort of village, and this place can be hard to find in a maze of small lanes with no signposts. Anyway, once you find it, this still looks like a traditional village pub although the exterior seems quite run down since my previous visit five years ago. The entrance is now from the rear, and the interior - which has been partially opened out at some stage - has been subject to a basic refurbishment with light furniture and decor. Pool table at the far end. Used to have two real ales on handpump, but now only Courage Best served but even this wasn't available the day I called in. Had to make do with John Smiths (£3.10) although bottles of Doom Bar are kept in the fridge. All a bit sad, unfortunately, and rating reduced accordingly. NB - Operates as Archies Cafe from 8 am.
