Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Horseshoes
Modernised and extended rural pub now aiming rather more upmarket than it was when I last visited (admittedly many years ago now). The various seating / dining areas in the old (front) part retain low ceilings and some features that have survived the various renovations but have very little natural light. The newer back part of the 'L'-shaped bar and dedicated dining area is generally lighter but fits in reasonably well. Also has a good deal of outside seating at the front / side patios and separate beer garden. The real ale choice is disappointing, though, with just Doom Bar and Harvey's (£3.45, albeit in good form) from a bank of three handpumps on each part of the bar counter.
