Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Head
Old Shepherd Neame pub on the High Street, albeit less traditional than one might expect inside. The rustic bar is to the right of the central entrance, with the dining area stretching back on the left-hand side. Normally does one or two cask ales from the three handpumps, but nothing doing on a bank holiday Monday for an understandable reason (once explained). Had a keg East Coast IPA (£6.60) instead before moving on.

Friendly staff and a lovely Sunday roast. Service can be a little slow but the food was worth the wait. Kids made welcome too. Looks a bit sparse inside - the current owner is keen for a refit after the previous owners tried to turn it into a kind of 'sports bar' but is getting back to its traditional roots.
