Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough
Definitely the more 'local' of the two Wilmington pubs, but I preferred this one as a casual visitor... Despite the external appearance, the full-width main bar at front as actually quite cramped (despite the bay windows), but there is a larger lounge / dining room further back. Both of these are quite traditional, but the surprise comes at the rear where a large, modernised and partly covered beer garden can be found up a few steps. Just Doom Bar and - thankfully - Harvey's (in good shape, £5.50 with a packet of peanuts) available from a total of five handpumps.
