Large backstreet pub on what were presumably once busy thoroughfares but now a bit of a backwater. A very traditional feel with numerous different rooms arranged around the bar. Beers are restricted to Greene King, with IPA, Abbot and a very drinkable Gold Speckled Hen at time of visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Tuns
Venerable backstreet pub, now with regular Greene King branding. Although substantially refurbished, it still retains some character in the various seating / dining areas around the central bar (with its two counters), despite the semi-modern furniture and decor. Just IPA and the seasonal Rocking Rudolph (£3.90) available from two of the four handpumps, with a reversed Abbot clip also noted.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Three Tuns Hotel
A large corner Greene King pub with a comfortable front lounge and bar and a labyrinth of rear back rooms. Four ales on pump, so we went for the Wantsum Imperium, which was in good nick. The staff in here were friendly and told us that we had just missed the lunchtime rush when unexpectedly a few large groups of diners had popped in and the pub was mobbed.
